BIOGRAPHY
Dr Capt. Mohamed Kahlan Al Barwani is a highly respected aviation safety leader with over 42 years of international experience across airline operations, regulatory oversight, and aviation consultancy. A former airline captain, instructor, examiner, and principal aviation inspector, he has held senior leadership roles with Oman Air, Gulf Air, EasyJet UK, and the Civil Aviation Authority of Oman, where he also represented the Sultanate at ICAO. He is recognised for his contributions to safety management systems, regulatory development, GRF implementation, and inspector capability building. As President of MKB International, he specialises in aviation quality and safety, regulatory compliance, safety governance and accident investigation.
