BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Aniekan Essien is a lecturer (assistant professor) in business analytics in the School of Management at the University of Bristol Business School, teaching in the areas of data analytics in business, operations, supply chain management, information systems and technologies in supply chains, and the management of innovation. His research mainly concerns the application of data analytics using deep learning and artificial intelligence, data analytics, and data science towards providing support for decision-making that contributes to actualising positive improvements in business organisations. Dr. Essien is an AI/machine learning researcher and data scientist with a passion for actualizing change and creating impact using technology. He is a Fellow of the HEA and has CMBE status.
